A band playing Jazz Fest has the number one album in the country right now. The Decemberists will perform Sunday, April 30, and their new album, The King is Dead, debuted at number one on Billboard‘s Hot 200. It sold 93,567 copies in the first week, a jump of more than 74,000 units from the first week numbers for 2009’s The Hazards of Love.
