For the first time in its history, Zagat has released a 30 Under 30 list of “food and beverage stars” from New Orleans. The move makes the Big Easy one of seven culinarily-inclined cities to get the dining authority’s 30 Under 30 treatment, an honor that is also bestowed on New York, Los Angeles, Charleston, Seattle, Dallas and Miami.
Plenty of long-established and up-and-coming local hotspots are represented on the list, which covers everything from bartenders and executive chefs to restaurant managers and ice chefs (though it does seem overly-focused on St. Roch Market, as four entries are pulled from the one-year-old food hall).
