Last week, the Revivalists released their first official music video, for “Criminal” from their latest album City of Sound. Directed by go-to music video man Tyler Yee (see G-Eazy’s “Marilyn” and “Runaround Sue”), the stylized video finds the band in a warehouse wrestling ring, alternately performing and fighting (with cameo from Howlin’ Wolf Management’s Stu Schayot as the ring’s referee).
The band announced yesterday that they had signed with Madison House booking agency, who also boast artists like Dumpstaphunk, Karl Denson, String Cheese Incident and others on their roster. The move should translate into much more touring work for the Revivalists. They’re currently in the Midwest, with shows in Atlanta, Pensacola and Destin later this month. Their next gig in New Orleans is June 29 at One Eyed Jacks.
