Tonight, an unprecedented musical lineup that includes Dr. John, Allen Toussaint, Irvin Mayfield, the Nevilles, Zigaboo Modeliste, Leo Nocentelli, Trombone Shorty, Panorama Jazz Band, Walter “Wolfman” Washington, Big Chief Monk Boudreaux, George Porter, Jr., Kermit Ruffins, Deacon John and Marcia Ball will take the stage at New Orleans Musicians for Obama. Generations Hall will host this fundraiser on behalf of the president’s re-election campaign that starts at 6 p.m. Tickets range from $35 for students and first-time voters to $200 for VIPs, and they’re available now online and tonight at the door.
