Trombone Shorty is currently touring Europe, and at his Wednesday night concert at the New Morning club in Paris he received a special visit from friend and former bandleader Lenny Kravitz. Kravitz sat in on the song “Something Beautiful” from Shorty’s recent major-label debut, Backatown. After the show, the two hit the studio at two in the morning, recording vocals and more for an unidentified song steaming with funk.
