Montreal-based singer King Khan has made his reputation singing psychedelic garage soul with his backing band, the Shrines. Tonight, he’s at One Eyed Jacks with Montreal one-man-band Bloodshot Bill as the Tandoori Knights – same garage spirit as the Shrines but with a dash of Bollywood. Here’s an intentionally amateurish video for “Big Belly Giant,” and an audio-only track from their 2009 album on Norton Records, Curry Up with the Tandoori Knights.
