The June issue of OffBeat is out all over town now, and one of the highlights is our annual recap of Jazz Fest. In this video you can get a look back at another Jazz Fest, 29 years ago in 1982. The video, shot by Alan Lomax and his crew during their stay in New Orleans that Spring, captures an early Dirty Dozen Brass Band second lining at the Fair Grounds with the Zulu, the Big Jumpers, and the Young Men Olympians social aid and pleasure clubs.
