Camile Baudoin was first out of the post-Radiators chute with his band the Living Rumors—David Doucet and Harry Hardin. They cut a charming album of homespun South Louisiana blues in Old Bayou Blues, and they’ll play a couple of shows on the next two nights. Tonight at Chickie Wah Wah, they’ll play as part of the Bayou Boogaloo benefit—a fundraiser to help keep the Mid-City music festival free. The evening starts at 6 p.m.
Friday night, they’ll play OffBeat‘s April/French Quarter Fest issue release party at the Rusty Nail, sponsored by the Louisiana Campaign for Tobacco-Free Living. The show starts around 9.
