Live Nation has announced the launch of an early-stage investment fund focused on supporting female-led live music businesses. With special attention focused on promotions, booking, event and festival space, the Women Nation Fund is now accepting applications for businesswomen looking to secure funding for their ventures.
In a statement from Live Nation CEO Michael Rapino, the Women Nation Fund will “provide resources and capital to female entrepreneurs innovating in the live entertainment space. This program is just one step towards empowering new entrepreneurs and creating more opportunity for women in this sector of the live music business.”
After applying, businesses will be evaluated by “a team of International Live Nation female executives with domain expertise across promotion, booking, technology, ticketing and PR/marketing.” To find out who these female executives are, and to apply for investing from the Women Nation Fund, click here.
