Weed World Candies, first established as a LOUD promotional vehicle around New Orleans, is proud to announce the opening of its flagship store in the French Quarter. The grand opening will take place on February 16, 2019 at 4:20 p.m.

Weed World Candies lollipops, trippy treats, ganja gummies, and kush chocolates will be available for purchase at the store as well as products from the top CBD brands and companies from around the country. Pete Marrero, the Marketing Director for Weed World Candies, thinks the French Quarter is a perfect location because of the large and diverse group of people within the area. “We are excited about having our footprint in the Louisiana market, providing visitors with high-quality products through an inviting and educational experience,” he said.

Weed World Candies began as a brand wanting to educate people about the benefits of Cannabis and CBD products and byproducts. The company had six branded vehicles driving around New Orleans to promote these products and teach others about them. Despite ongoing issues between the company and New Orleans police, Weed World Candies has worked hard to establish itself in the New Orleans area as an educational name. The company began eight years ago and is only growing bigger.

The new store will have a tribute to “Cannabis Freedom Fighters” and a mini museum memorializing the evolution of cannabis and its corresponding industry. Weed World Candies is located at 230 Chartres St, New Orleans LA, 70130.
