The Young Leadership Council (YLC) of New Orleans announced the full lineup and the return of the Wednesday at the Square concert series, with the first event set for Wednesday, March 15.
The 2022 series marked the event’s successful return following the pandemic, drawing crowds of over 40,000 people over the span of the series. The 10-week, free concert series is returning for its 16th year in Lafayette Square.
Wednesday at the Square 2023 has scheduled the following musical acts: Water Seed and The Rumble ft. Chief Joseph Boudreaux Jr.; Maggie Koerner and Louis Michot; Galactic ft. Anjelika “Jelly” Joseph and YUSA; Mia Borders and The Quickening; The Suffers and Trumpet Mafia; The Iceman Special and Zita; George Porter Jr. & Runnin’ Pardners and Joy Clark; The Soul Rebels and Tonya Boyd-Cannon; Nigel Hall and Miss Mojo; glbl wrmng and LeTrainiump.
Wednesday at the Square features local musicians, food and beverage from local food vendors and restaurants and a variety of art vendors throughout the series. All food and beverage sales benefit YLC, a nonprofit, nonpartisan civic organization that develops leadership through community projects.
