People Museum is as unconventionally New Orleans as it gets. Vocalist Claire Givens and trombonist Jeremy Phipps both grew up in Louisiana and teamed up in 2015 to form this electronic pop band with a unique sound, one that Givens qualifies as “metallic pop music with roots in nature.”

In 2018, they released their debut album, “I Dreamt You in Technicolor” with the help of drummer Aaron Boudreaux. After a release party at Saturn Bar in New Orleans, Claire and Jeremy sat down with OffBeat to talk about their journey.
