Last night, NPR’s comedy news quiz, Wait Wait … Don’t Tell Me, taped this week’s show at the Mahalia Jackson. When host Peter Sagal walked onstage, he was met with shouts of “Who Dat!,” to which he replied, “I bring a message from NPR. It’s ‘Who are those folks?'”

The edited show airs Saturday at 1o a.m. and Sunday at 3 p.m. on WWNO and includes a very entertaining interview with George Porter, Jr. (I’ll let you know what you missed Monday). For those who can’t get enough Wait Wait (which likely includes the woman in front of me who even gave a standing ovation for members of the production staff), panelists Roy Blount, Jr., Amy Dickinson and Mo Rocca will be at Octavia Books tonight from 6-7:30 p.m. with music by Armand St. Martin.
