California alt-rockers Incubus got some help from an unlikely guest when they headlined Champions Square in New Orleans on Wednesday night. That guest was R&B singer—and Crescent City resident—Solange, who joined the band for the slow burner “Aqueous Transmission” from their 2001 album Morning View.
Evidently, this was a special moment for Solange. According to Jezebel, the singer once told Teen Vogue that she went through a “Rasta-vegan-thrifter-who-is-determined-to-marry-Brandon-Boyd phase” during high school, and “may or may not have written” her 2002 son “Feelin’ You” about the Incubus frontman.
