Monch leads the Rebels through his hit “Simon Says” from his 1999 debut album Internal Affairs.

Black Thought, Afrika Bambaataa, Rakim, and DJ Enuff also joined the Soul Rebels during their time at the Brooklyn Bowl, with Roy Hargrove helping close out the set playing the music of D’Angelo and Marvin Gaye on February 28.

The Soul Rebels will stay close to New Orleans for a while, returning to Le Bon Temps Roule on Magazine Street on March 12, 19, and 26.

They will also appear at Hogs for the Cause in City Park on March 28.
