Indie band Empress Hotel put out this new video last week for “Mach Bach,” the first from their upcoming EP to be released soon on local Park the Van Records. The band is made up of several members very familiar on the New Orleans indie rock scene–singer Micah McKee (Silent Cinema), multi-instrumentalist Leo DeJesus (Vox and the Hound), drummer Eric Rogers (Vox and the Hound) and his brother Ryan on guitar. The group is rounded out by Patrick Hodgkins (aka Hache Horchatta) on bass and Julie Williams on keyboards. Catch them next at a Krewe du Vieux after-party at Blue Nile this Saturday, February 19.

The video was directed by Drew Stubbs, who also recently completed the video for “Carrying the Torch” by Generationals. As a bonus, here’s some behind the scenes footage:
