NPR’s Tiny Desk Concerts video series showed New Orleans a whole lot of love on Mardi Gras Day. In addition to declaring local act Tank and The Bangas the winners of their massive Tiny Desk Contest, the program also put out a brand new video of The Dirty Dozen Brass Band.

The seven-piece New Orleans brass outfit has been a fixture of the city’s music for 40 years, so it’s always great to see them representing the Big Easy on a national stage. Their four song set finds them performing old favorites like “My Feet Can’t Fail Me Now” and newer material like “Best Of All” in NPR’s iconic Tiny Desk office.
