This weekend, the sensational Valerie Sassyfras will host a record release party for her new, ten-track album, Crazy Train.

Sassyfras, who recently auditioned for the blockbuster reality-based competition show “America’s Got Talent,” will showcase her signature brand of irreverent show-womanship at the release party, which takes place at Siberia (2227 St. Claude Ave.). Supporting her at the show is The Breton Sound, who will perform an opening set.

At the release party, fans can expect to hear material from Crazy Train, which features the title single as well as “Writin’s on the Wall.”

The Crazy Train release party kicks off at 10 p.m. (doors at 9 p.m.) on Saturday, March 23. Tickets will be available at the door for $12. The show is 18+.

Those unable to attend can catch Valerie Sassyfras at Freret Street Fest (April 6), Frass Fest at Gasa Gasa with J and the Causeways (4/26), the Sugar Ball at the Sugar Mill with Tank and the Bangas and more (May 4) and Mid-City Bayou Boogaloo. Her “America’s Got Talent” audition may air in late May, when the new season begins.
