If you are a school music teacher or nonprofit looking for instruments for students, now is the time to apply for Tipitina’s Foundation’s Instruments A Comin’ program.

The program places new band and orchestra instruments in school and after-school music programs state-wide. Recipients are selected based on their level of need, quality of band program leadership, and support of school’s administration

To date, Instruments A Comin’ has contributed more than $3.1 million of musical instruments to over 100 music programs throughout Louisiana.

Tipitina’s Foundation will accept applications through April 15. Visit the foundation’s website to apply.

The deadline is approaching, so apply now for the chance to receive brand new instruments for the next school year. Award recipients will be announced in Summer 2016.
