Music lovers, mark your calendars! From May 24 to August 30, 2024, Tipitina’s will host its Free Fridays concert series, offering 15 weeks of unforgettable live music at 501 Napoleon Avenue. Open to those aged 21 and over, these events promise nights filled with music, dancing, and good vibes, all without an admission fee.
Presented by New Orleans and Company, Crescent Canna, and Crystal Hot Sauce, this year’s series features a diverse lineup of talented artists. The doors will open at 8 p.m., with performances starting at 9 p.m. Each show will be general admission, ensuring everyone gets a chance to enjoy the electric atmosphere.
The concert series kicked off on May 24 with performances by Soul Brass Band and LetRainium. Following weeks will see acts like Flow Tribe, Marina Orchestra, Mike Dillon & The New F*** Yeahs, and many more, leading up to the final performance on August 30 featuring The Quickening and All That.
