The Tipitina’s Foundation will hold a Summer Sidewalk Sale on Friday, June 20, on the Napoleon Avenue neutral ground in front of the iconic Uptown venue.
The sidewalk sales starts at 9:00 p.m. and runs through midnight, and will include an assortment of heavily discounted Tipitina’s merchandise including t-shirts, sweatshirts, caps and past show posters from artists including Dumpstaphunk, The Radiators, and String Cheese Incident.
Proceeds will benefit the Tipitina’s Foundation, a non-profit established by the historic music venue to support Louisiana and New Orleans musical communities.
Annual events such as Instrument’s A Comin’ have provided over $2.7 million in instruments to more than 80 local schools and after school programs.
Tipitina’s Foundation also provides instrument repairs, allowing for donated used instruments to be refurbished and given to school programs.
Good Enough for Good Times will be on stage as part of the Foundation Free Fridays Concert Series on June 20, providing excellent background music while you shop.
