Thanks to the Jazz & Heritage Concert Series, the great Ellis Marsalis will put on a free performance in New Orleans on Saturday, December 15.
Marsalis will perform with his quintet at the Jazz & Heritage Center (1225 N Rampart St). There, the “patriarch of modern New Orleans jazz” will showcase the virtuosity that makes him not only one of the world’s pre-eminent jazz pianists, but also performer.
There will be two sets, one at at 8 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. Admission is free.
