The Soul Rebels announced an extensive tour spanning the Northeast, Midwest, South, and West Coast through November 2024. The tour includes a very special hometown reunion concert at Tipitina’s in New Orleans on November 23, featuring past and present band members. This concert will celebrate and honor the history of The Soul Rebels and the musicians who have contributed to the band’s legacy.
The Soul Rebels have performed alongside Katy Perry and DMX, and being featured on NPR’s Tiny Desk series. Their debut late night TV appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert and a headlining set at the TED Conference further solidified their reputation. Expanding their international reach, the band has toured extensively abroad , including Europe, Australia, China, South Korea and Japan. Known for their explosive stage presence, The Soul Rebels have collaborated live with an impressive array of artists such as Nas, G-Eazy, Robin Thicke, Macy Gray, and Metallica, among others, and have opened for Lauryn Hill and Nile Rodgers. Originating from a desire to blend the New Orleans brass tradition with the pop music they loved, The Soul Rebels fuse funk, soul, hip hop, jazz and rock within a brass band context. Their eclectic live shows are a deeply rooted in funk, harnessing the power of horns and drums.
Kicking off on August 4, 2024, at the Pickathon Experiential Music Festival in Happy Valley, OR, the tour will take The Soul Rebels to numerous iconic venues and festivals across the country. Notable stops include special appearances at events such as NOLA Funk Fest, numerous arts centers, jazz festivals and cruises.
