The Roots of Music, the leading nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering New Orleans youth through music education and mentorship, will relocate to St. Peter Claver School in Treme. The organization has been housed at St. Paul Lutheran Church in the Bywater neighborhood.
St. Peter Claver School at 1020 N. Prieur Street, is an historic landmark with a rich cultural heritage. It will provide the opportunity for The Roots of Music to continue its mission of nurturing talent, fostering creativity, and building a brighter future for the next generation of musicians and leaders.
