The New Orleans Jazz Museum will host the third annual Improvisations Gala on Saturday, December 5, at 7 p.m. This courtyard event will feature talent performing live from the Museum, with the option to view from home on Facebook Live and will be a culminating celebration of jazz music in New Orleans during the holiday season.
Despite being greatly affected by the COVID-19 crisis, the Museum has continued to employ local musicians by producing free virtual content every week. Funds raised from this event will directly benefit the Museum, musicians, students, and educators–working together to support the New Orleans cultural community through the pandemic. The Improvisations Gala will stream virtually via Facebook with a limited in-person courtyard party.
The live entertainment line up is as follows:
- Dee Dee Bridgewater Live Concert Outdoor Screening at 7 p.m.
- Dirty Dozen Live Outdoor Concert at 8 p.m.
- Bonerama Live Concert Outdoor Screening at 9 p.m.
- Big Freedia Live Outdoor Concert at 10 p.m.
General admission tickets are $75. Tickets will be available on Monday, November 16 here.
