Pop superstar Taylor Swift delighted her fans this morning by revealing an unexpected extension to her highly successful “Eras” tour. Taking to Instagram, the Grammy-winning artist excitedly shared the news of the upcoming leg, including a three-night stop in New Orleans. The performances are scheduled for Friday, October 25, through Sunday, October 27, 2024. and will occur at Caesar’s Superdome.

In her announcement, Swift playfully addressed rumors that this tour might be the conclusion of an era for her, stating, “Turns out it’s NOT the end of an era.” This declaration was a welcome surprise to her dedicated fanbase. The “Eras” tour extension aims to provide an exciting lineup of shows, with additional performances planned for Miami, Indianapolis and Toronto. 

Tickets for the upcoming shows will be available for purchase starting August 10 at 11 a.m. Fans are encouraged to secure their seats as soon as possible, given Swift‘s immense popularity and this tour’s previous record of selling out stadiums in nearly every major city she has performed in.

The New Orleans concerts hold particular significance for both the artist and her fans, as it marks Taylor Swift’s return to the city after her last performance there in September 2018 as part of her “Reputation” tour. With the Superdome’s massive capacity, it is expected to celebrate her music and the community.
