Just one hour’s drive from New Orleans, Kiln, MS will host the Sugar Magnolia Fest, a camping-friendly event taking place November 9 and 10 (Friday and Saturday).
The weekend-long affair will host nationwide talent in genres ranging from the blues to soul rock and Americana. Family friendly, the Sugar Magnolia Music Fest will feature plenty of Gulf Coast cuisine, a local craft beer garden, RV hookups and rentals and room for those looking to pitch their tents on the Hancock County Fairground.
The full performance line-up features headlining sets from Samantha Fish, The Dustbowl Revival, Roadside Glorious and Raw Oyster Cult. Other acts on the bill are The Iceman Special, Dana Abbott, Russell Batiste & friends, Dave Jordan & the NIA, Buku Broux, Sippiana Soul, The Quickening and Johnny Sketch & the Bandicoot 4.
Of special note is Roadside Glorious, who will perform on both days. In September, the four-piece soul rock outfit premiered the music video for “Gone Girl” at OffBeat.com, which you can see below:
