Stevie Nicks will bring her 24 Karat Gold Tour to New Orleans’ Smoothie King Center on Wednesday, March 15. The Pretenders will support with an opening set.
Nicks last took the stage in New Orleans when her other project — a little band called Fleetwood Mac — headlined Jazz Fest in 2013. The two-and-a-half hour show was part of the band’s last tour without keyboardist and singer Christine McVie, who rejoined in 2014 after a 17 year absence.
Since 2014, Nicks has been on the road in support of her eighth studio, 24 Karat Gold: Songs from the Vault. The record is a collection of reimagined versions of demo tracks the singer originally recorded between 1969 and 1987.
Tickets for Nicks’ New Orleans show will go on sale to the general public on Monday, December 12 at 10am.
