Anders Osborne, Luther Dickinson, Marc Broussard and JJ Grey will revive their Southern Soul Assembly project for a lengthy tour in March.

The supergroup will kick off their run in Birmingham, AL on March 2 before swinging through much of the South, East Coast and Midwest over the course of the next four weeks. The run includes a stop at New Orleans’ Orpheum Theater on Sunday, March 5 and Lafayette’s Acadiana Center for the Arts on Tuesday, March 7.

Launched in 2014, Southern Soul Assembly is a “artist-in-the-round performance series” that finds Osborne, Dickinson, Broussard and Grey trading licks, telling stories and otherwise complementing each other’s talents. Past shows have featured originals from all four artists’ catalogs, and there’s no reason to think things will be different this time around.
