The Smashing Pumpkins will bring their “acoustic-electro” tour to New Orleans during Jazz Fest season, when they headline the Saenger Theatre on Friday, April 22. The group will be joined by opening act Liz Phair.

The alternative rock outfit has been touring cosnistently with different configurations since they reunited in 2006 following a six year hiatus. The group currently features original frontman Billy Corgan, longtime drummer Jimmy Chamberlain (who rejoined the band in 2015) and multi-instumentalist Jeff Schroeder (who became a member in 2007).

Tickets for the shows will go on sale via Ticketmaster at noon on Friday, March 18.
