Saturday afternoon, BaBa Blankets & Crafts on Prytania Street is throwing a party for a true ladies party. The shop will be presenting the Sista Summer Jam: a full day of music from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., highlighted by Zion Trinity, Michaela Harrison, and Tanya & Doris. In addition to the music, there will be a performances by the Silhouette Dance Ensemble, the Kid smArt Circus Arts Girl Group, and more.
All items at BaBa Blankets will be 15 percent off on Saturday, and most importantly, all proceeds from the sales during the event will go to Ghana’s Stay-In-School Tuition Assistance (SISTA) program, which helps young Ghanaian girls graduate from school by providing the money for which they’re usually forced to leave school at a young age to work for. Even if you can’t make the party, you can still help the SISTA program by purchasing online, and receive 15 percent off any online purchase. Order anytime now through midnight on Saturday, June 19 and enter coupon code SISTAJAM for the discount.
