Sharon Jones & the Dap-Kings will take the stage in Champions Square when they headline Boudin, Bourbon & Beer on Friday, November 4. Other acts on the bill include Anderson East, Banditos and Lost Bayou Ramblers.
Jones last performed in New Orleans during this year’s Jazz Fest, and was interviewed by OffBeat for our Jazz Fest Bible.
The sixth annual edition of the one-day Boudin, Bourbon & Beer festival, which is put on by the Emeril Lagasse Foundation, will showcase a variety of creative takes on boudin sausage from over 60 local and national chefs. Emeril Lagasse and his co-chairs–Donald Link, Stephen Stryjewski and John Currence– will participate, along with Ed Lee of Louisville, Beau MacMillan of Phoenix, and Louisiana-based Will Avelar, Michael Gulotta, Justin Devillier, Isaac Toups, Tory McPhail and many more.
The event will will also feature beers from Abita, specialty Bourbon cocktails from Buffalo Trace, cigar tastings from Nat Sherman, and wines from Au Bon Climat, Justin Vineyards & Winery and Landmark Vineyards.
Tickets for Boudin, Bourbon and Beer are on sale now, and will include all food, beverages and live entertainment. All proceeds from the ticket sales will benefit the Emeril Lagasse Foundation.
