New Orleans’ Second Line Brewing will celebrate a quintessentially American holiday and a quintessentially American actor when “Tom Hanks-Giving” comes to the Mid City brewery this month.

Starting this Wednesday, November 16, Second Line will offer “You’ve Got Pale,” “A League of Their Brown,” “That Thing You Fruit” and other beers inspired by the two-time Academy Award-winning star of classic films like Big, Forrest Gump and Saving Private Ryan.

Second Line will also host screenings of Big (November 16) and Toy Story (November 23). Attendees are encouraged to dress up as their favorite Tom Hanks character and share their own Tom Hanks puns.

Second Line Brewing opened its doors at 433 N Bernadotte St in August of 2015. The brewery currently offers a Batture Blonde Ale, Pale, India Pale Ale, Route 47 IPA and a variety of seasonal beers.
