Roux Carré is hosting a talent search for undiscovered musical talent in the New Orleans area.

The application deadline is September 7 and the first round of artists take the stage on September 23 at Roux Carré from 6 to 8 p.m. The applications will be narrowed down to 10 acts competing for $5,500 in cash prizes for first, second, third and fourth place. The competition will take place over four weeks with the final four finishing off at the House of Blues on October 20.
