When OffBeat’s Brett Milano asked Rory Danger what comes along with a live show, her response was “We are nothing if not our own hero’s journey, traversing the high seas of triumphs and failures, seeking out that great white whale of our own deepest ambitions, hopes and desires.”
On December 20, Rory Danger & The Danger Dangers will perform a holiday show at Tipitina’s. There, they’ll “present the long lost Christmas tale of Moby Dickens, the Great White Elephant in the Room, making sure to leave no detail of the fabled fable untold.” The event promises to be “a full- scale, multi-sensory experience.”
Joining them on the bill are Michot’s Melody Makers, featuring members of the GRAMMY-winning Lost Bayou Ramblers. Together, the bands will ensure that “eccentricity and electricity will be on full display, as well as more guitars than can be counted by mere mortals.”
Doors for the affair open at 8 p.m., with music beginning at 9 p.m. For more information, including tickets, click here.
