UPDATE: The Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger will undergo heart valve replacement surgery this week.
The Rolling Stones, arguably the most talked-about performer scheduled to appear at the 50th annual New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival, will not be there anymore.
According to a report from NOLA.com, the iconic rock band had to postpone its entire No Filter tour, leading them to inevitably bow out of their upcoming New Orleans gig.
“Information regarding May 2 ticket refunds and second weekend VIP package adjustments is forthcoming,” said the report.
On Twitter, the band made an announcement saying “Mick [Jagger] has been advised by doctors that he cannot go on tour at this time, as he needs medical treatment.”
