The inaugural Gumbo Cook-Off for a Cause is being presented by the Trinity Christian Community in support of their youth leadership program in the Hollygrove neighborhood.

The cook-off will take place on the afternoon of September 25 at Rock ‘n’ Bowl from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

The event will not only feature the gumbo cook-off, but also Bruce Daigreponte, a musical performance by the youth of Don Moose Jameson Heritage High School of Music, a raffle, a silent auction, and, of course, bowling.

The proceeds from the event will go to the youth leadership program and community outreach in Hollygrove.

Admission is $25 for adults and $10 for children 12 and under. Tickets are available here.
