Robert Neary’s journey to this moment has been marked by a deep passion for Neil Diamond’s music. Raised on Long Island, Neary grew up listening to and mimicking his favorite artists, Elvis Presley and Neil Diamond. He gained immediate success as an actor with a guest star role in the TV series “Fame,” and later appeared opposite Jason Bateman in the film “Teen Wolf Too.” After a stint on “General Hospital,” Neary pursued a career in Contemporary Gospel music before returning to acting, where he has guest-starred in over 50 television shows, including “Criminal Minds,” “Sons of Anarchy,” “Grey’s Anatomy,” “Blue Bloods,” “The Fosters,” “FBI: Most Wanted,” and “NCIS: New Orleans.”
In 2017, Neary returned to New York for a third time, where he understudied the lead role of Sonny in the Broadway smash “A Bronx Tale, The Musical,” performing the famed role over a dozen times.
