The Recording Academy is now accepting applications from incoming college juniors and seniors interested in pursuing a career in the music industry for the inaugural Quinn Coleman Scholarship.
Created in partnership with the Grammy Museum, the scholarship is designed to elevate a new generation of Black music creators through a financial scholarship and career development program for students enrolled at a college or university in good standing in Los Angeles, Miami, New York City, Nashville or Washington, D.C.
Five students will receive a $1,000 tuition scholarship, two $250 book/equipment stipends, a $500 interview prep stipend, a Recording Academy internship for the Spring 2023 semester, and the opportunity to participate in a six-week immersive program focusing on emotional and financial wellness.
Applications must be submitted by Friday, Oct. 7, 2022.

Quinn Spencer Coleman was an A&R (artists and repertoire) executive at Capitol Records, an independent music promoter, and DJ in Los Angeles clubs. He died at his Los Angeles home of unknown causes on August 16, 2020. He was 31.
