Progression, a free experimental music series that takes place every Tuesday night at Gasa Gasa in New Orleans, has announced its lineup for August.
The upcoming editions of the series will each be loosely based around a different style of music, with the next show taking place on Tuesday, August 9. That one will be an R&B showcase featuring Elliot Luv, Casme and BLK.
Progression will welcome a trio of prog-rock and funks acts–Terra Terra, Flux and Organami–for its August 16 edition. The August 23 show will focus on hip-hop with performances from The Grid, Sic Hop and Zoocru. Finally, Progression will host a number of R&B acts on August 30, including T-Ray, The Essence and TBA act.
All of the showcases will be free and open to the public, though donations are suggested at the door.
