Electronic music producer and former OffBeat Magazine cover artist Derek Vincent Smith, known as Pretty Lights, has announced his return to touring with his newly constructed inter-dimensional “Soundship Spacesystem.” The tour will span 27 dates in 9 cities, with two festival appearances, beginning in the summer and ending in the fall of 2023.
The tour will include stops from coast to coast, with multi-night runs in Denver, Dillon, Atlanta, Philadelphia, Brooklyn, Chicago, Pelham, San Francisco, and finishing here in New Orleans at Mardi Gras World on December 1 and 2. Festival appearances include Suwannee Hulaween in Live Oak, Florida, and Cascade Equinox Festival in Redmond, Oregon.
He stated, “This tour is all about exploring the creativity that blossoms when energies are harmonized. I’ve spent the last 5 years experimenting, recharging, and building with the humans who will join me on these shows in order to create a team and system where not even the sky is the limit. PL feels new again and ready to be shared with the fans.”
Tickets will go on sale soon, with specific ticketing, pre-sale sign-up information, and VIP options available on the Pretty Lights website. For those looking to attend the show at The Caverns in Pelham, Tennessee, tickets will go on sale later.
