Preservation Hall Jazz Band, Blind Boys of Alabama to Join Forces for “Jam the Vote” Concert

The Preservation Hall Jazz Band will team up with the Blind Boys of Alabama for Jam The Vote, a pre-election concert slated for the Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, NY on Sunday, November 6.

Eric Krasno, Questlove, Matisyahu, Robert Randolph, Joe Russo, Marc Brownstein (The Disco Biscuits), Craig Finn (The Hold Steady), Eugene Hutz (Gogol Bordello), Alex Ebert (Edward Sharpe & THe Magnetic Zeros), Lee Fields and many more are among the other guests that will join during the concert.

Jam The Vote is being organized by HeadCount, a nonpartisan, nonprofit organization that registers people to vote at concerts and music festivals. With most voter registration deadlines now behind them, the organization has shifted its focus to getting people to the polls.

Tickets for Jam The Vote are now on sale, but those that can’t make it will be able to stream the show for free online. All they have to do is pledge to vote when Election Day rolls around on Tuesday, November 8.
