Portugal. The Man last played in New Orleans at this past fall’s Voodoo Experience, but the indie rockers are apparently veterans of what bass player Zach Carothers calls the “best city to spend Halloween in, ever”, having even spent time eating bugs at the Audubon Insectarium.

On Monday, Portugal. The Man returned to New Orleans to stop at House of Blues on their jam-packed Spring tour with The Lonely Forest. Earlier in the day, their record label Atlantic released a remix by RZA of their track “All Your Light (Times Like These)”. Portugal. The Man’s set hit a snag when their drummer left the stage following an apparent argument. The remaining members made the best of it by performing most of the rest of their set in an intimate acoustic style. Local indie band Big History opened the show.
