On Friday, September 14, Grammy-winning Alaskans Portugal. The Man will perform in New Orleans. At the 2018 Grammy Awards, the band took home gold in the Best Pop Duo/Group Performance category for “Feel It Still,” a song which broke the record for most weeks on the number-one position on Billboard’s Alternative Songs Chart.
As previously reported by OffBeat.com, the upcoming appearance is part of a tour in support of Portugal. The Man’s most recent album, Woodstock. “The band’s last visit to New Orleans was in April of 2017, with much of the band’s performance relying heavily on the 2013 album Evil Friends,” wrote Allyson Aleksey.
