September’s Ponderosa Stomp Festival has some changes to its roster. The festival has just added swamp bluesman Jimmy Dotson, gospel group The Relatives, New Orleans rock ‘n’ roll star Joyce Harris, LaLa Brooks of The Crystals, Crescent City soulman Sammy Ridgley, and the Texas garage rock of The Elite. Johnny Gimble, Stanley Dural and Warren Storm have been dropped from the performers list.

The Ponderosa Stomp moved to the fall this year from its old slot in between Jazz Fest weekends. It takes place on September 24 and 25 this year, still at House of Blues.
