Debuting April 29 on Morton‘s own Morton Records, Watch The Sun is an expansive album about the challenges he has faced in life and love. Following four straight years of Grammy wins as a self-released, self-produced artist, in addition to chart-topping achievements and countless collaborations, Watch The Sun is the next step in a career that continues to bridge styles, traditions and generations. With special appearances from Alex Isley, Chronixx, El DeBarge, Jill Scott, JoJo, Mr. Talkbox, Nas, Stevie Wonder, Wale, Zacardi Cortez and more, 11 new, original songs find Morton at his most honest, open and intentional.

On a Good Morning America appearance on April 18, Morton discussed the project before a performance of the single “My Peace,” from Watch the Sun featuring JoJo and Mr. Talkbox.

Morton recently brought album highlight “Please Don’t Walk Away” to Jimmy Kimmel Live!, but starting in Chicago this Wednesday, April 20, fans will have the opportunity to hear all of Watch The Sun early, at a series of visual listening parties presented in partnership with Regal Cinemas and local radio stations. Additional events include Los Angeles on April 22, Houston on April 24, and Atlanta on April 27. To attend, contact the stations here.
