PJ Morton, talented musician and New Orleans native, has made three massive announcements this week. This month already, the singer, songwriter, key player and recording producer already accomplished more than what others dream of in a lifetime. From playing the Super Bowl to winning a Grammy, PJ Morton continues his success with creating more music and shows for his fans.
Morton will hit the stage in NYC, DC, Chicago, and more from April 29 to May 12. Morton will perform ten acoustic sets in the smallest rooms he’s played in years, creating an intimate atmosphere for all guests. The tour, billed “Keys & A Mic Tour,” will include The Amours, a sister duo whose untouchable harmonies and intriguing stage presence have complemented Morton on the Grammy-nominated album Gumbo Unplugged, his 15-piece Tiny Desk Concert, jam sessions with The Roots, and nearly 60 tour dates across the world.
Tickets for the tour go on sale today at 3 p.m. To purchase tickets, visit here.
This month, PJ Morton sold out his first ever headlining Kennedy Center performance and dropped a new single, “Say So” with Jo Jo but he won’t stop there. Morton has teamed up with Jo Jo, Luke James, Mia X, Pell, the Hamiltones, and many others to create a new live album. The album will be recorded at the 25th Anniversary ESSENCE Festival this July.
And, as if that wasn’t enough, The Amours released their debut Morton Records single today (February 28). Listen to “All the Time” here.
PJ Morton will appear at the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival on April 26.
