Piety Market, the admired institution in the New Orleans artisanal scene, announced a significant change in location beginning September 17. The market will now call the sanctuary space at Hotel Peter & Paul (2317 Burgundy St.) in the heart of the Marigny, its new home.

McCree’s extensive experience and deep appreciation for artisanal craftsmanship have been pivotal in curating the market’s offerings over the years. She has even authored a book titled Flea Market America, which delves into the world of flea markets and the unique treasures they offer.
Starting on Sunday, September 17, and continuing every third Sunday of the month, Piety Market will set up shop at Hotel Peter & Paul. Operating hours will be from noon to 5 p.m.
Piety Market is best known for its carefully curated collection of locally crafted art, handmade goods, all-natural beauty products, vintage clothing and an assortment of flea market gems.
What sets the market apart is the diversity of its offerings and the lively ambiance it cultivates. Visitors can enjoy performances by Sheepie & the Hen, who will provide the soundtrack to the shopping experience with their fiddle and guitar.
With this relocation to Hotel Peter & Paul, Piety Market continues its tradition of celebrating local artisans and fostering a sense of community through unique and handmade creations. The Marigny neighborhood, known for its artistic spirit, provides an ideal backdrop for this creative endeavor.
