Fans of jambands, electronic dance music and funk were treated to one hell of a Halloween weekend at Live Oak, FL’s Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park, where the annual Suwannee Hulaween festival delivered three days of music and madness. Hosted by jam titans The String Cheese Incident, the event featured three full shows from SCI, as well as performances by Pretty Lights, Primus, Chance The Rapper, STS9, Slightly Stoopid, GRiz, Odesza and many more.
Fortunately for New Orleans music lovers, the Crescent City was well represented at the fest, which included sets from Dumpstaphunk and Earphunk, along with NOLA-influenced favorites like the Nth Power. New Orleans resident and trumpeter Eric Beeny Bloom was also on hand to funk it out with his band Lettuce.
