The final day of Jazz Fest 2014 ended on a high note. For a year marked by consecutive weekends of beautiful weather, the musical output was just as perfect.
Eclectic piano player Bobby Lounge took to the Lagniappe stage to regale the crowd with stories of Wal Mart woven into his Southern Gothic absurdist songs. Luke Winslow-King somehow made it through an energetic set in the 80 degree heat wearing a suit jacket, and the unstoppable John Fogerty had the crowd at the Samsung stage dancing for his entire set.
